About the Role:

You will serve a critical role in ensuring continuous and efficient operation of industrial equipment and facilities. This position is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing maintenance activities to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of machinery. By analyzing equipment performance data and troubleshooting technical issues, you will help ensure overall plant reliability.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, maintenance, automation, or industrial environments
  • Strong mechanical aptitude (machining concepts, fabrication, bearings, drives, gearboxes, etc.)
  • Solid electrical knowledge (AC/DC systems, panels, motors, sensors, relays)
  • Comfortable working across interconnected disciplines — mechanic, electrician, controls tech, and IT
  • Experience supporting non-standard and custom equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with industrial mechanical and mechatronic systems
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, controls, sensors, pneumatics, and automation equipment
  • Familiarity with software and basic IT/network troubleshooting related to manufacturing equipment
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced industrial environments
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with operations teams to resolve equipment issues.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems.
  • Troubleshoot software and firmware issues impacting equipment performance.
  • Interface with IT systems and collaborate with IT teams.
  • Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Install, modify, and commission new equipment and prototypes.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, efficiency, and performance.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and root-cause failure analysis.
  • Maintain compliance with SAFETY, electrical, and manufacturing standards.
  • Troubleshoot and repair non-automated electrical equipment.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

  • This is an onsite position (M-F) from 7AM to 4PM.
  • Must be able to work at ground level and at heights using ladders and scissor lifts.
  • Must be able to work in dusty, non-climate-controlled environments in varying weather conditions.
  • Must be capable of performing physically demanding tasks including climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, bending, and handling materials up to 70 lbs.

Compensation Range: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

The compensation range listed for this position represents ONEMESA's good-faith estimate of the pay range it reasonably expects to offer at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, and business needs. Eligible employees may participate in ONEMESA's profit-sharing program and benefit offerings; which includes health insurance, 401(k) with generous company match, paid time off, and other company-sponsored benefits. Eligible travel and field employees may also receive additional benefits and incentives, including per diem allowances, cell phone stipends, and single-occupancy hotel accommodations.
