This Role is Tailor-Made for You Because:

The Senior Designer, Ready-to-Wear Runway is a key creative partner for our seasonal runway collections in partnership with the Creative leads and Design Directors. This position collaborates closely with the design leads to bring runway concepts to life through trend research, sketching, draping, and garment execution. The candidate must be organized, detail oriented, and adaptable to shifting priorities. They must be passionate about product and have an elevated aesthetic to match the Tory Burch Brand.

A Day in the Life:

Collaborate with the Design Directors and Creative leadership to support and develop seasonal runway/Vogue.com collections.
Research and interpret fashion trends, art, culture, and references into original and compelling design concepts.
Create detailed sketches (by hand and digitally) and technical flats for garments.
Work closely with patternmakers, sample rooms, and product development teams to oversee prototype creation and garment fittings.
Maintain mood boards, design decks, and line sheets throughout the design process.
Participate in fittings and make construction and design adjustments as needed.
Ensure all designs meet the highest standards of craftsmanship, fit, and brand identity.
Assist in preparing looks for runway shows, lookbooks, and special presentations.
Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and emerging design practices.

To Land This Role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in fashion design, with at least 4 years in luxury and/or runway apparel
  • Strong design portfolio showcasing innovative, fashion-forward concepts and execution.
  • Excellent sketching, draping, and garment construction skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator and Photoshop) and CAD software.
  • Strong understanding of high-end fabrics, construction techniques, and finishing.
  • Exceptional eye for color, silhouette, and detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Passionate about high fashion, storytelling, and innovation

Compensation Range

The compensation range for this position is 120,000.00 USD - 155,000.00 USD. Our offer will be based on your relevant experience and work location.
