There are several different types of errand running jobs. At a large firm or office, you may have administrative and clerical support responsibilities. You also perform odd tasks around the office, such as delivering documents to other departments, photocopying, picking up staff lunches or coffee orders, and providing personal assistance to managers. In hotels or luxury apartments, guests or residents may pay extra for a concierge service that sends you to perform duties, such as dropping off and picking up dry cleaning, ordering car services, or picking up groceries. Some errand runners are personal assistants.
