Position Overview:

V&E Hospitality Group is currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Food Runners. Food Runners play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and seamless flow of food from the kitchen to the dining area, contributing to the overall guest experience. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Food Delivery:Transport food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate table promptly, ensuring accuracy in food placement and presentation.
  2. Order Verification:Confirm that the delivered dishes match the corresponding table's order and accurately fulfill any special requests or dietary restrictions.
  3. Guest Interaction:Interact with guests in a courteous and friendly manner, delivering dishes with a smile and assisting with any additional requests they may have.
  4. Team Coordination:Collaborate closely with servers, kitchen staff, and other team members to maintain a smooth and efficient flow of food service.
  5. Clear Tables:Assist in clearing used dishes, glassware, and utensils from tables as needed to maintain a clean and welcoming dining environment.
  6. Table Maintenance:Assist in resetting tables and ensuring they are clean and properly set for the next guests.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Food Runner or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
  • Positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical qualifications:

Ability to move throughout the dining room effectively.

Ability to lift and carry serving trays weighing up to 15lbs and bus tubs weighing up to 40 lbs.

Ability to perform reaching and stooping motions.
