Join Our Team as a Food Runner!

As the Food Runner in our full-service restaurant, youre the behind-the-scenes hero who ensures every dining experience is seamless and memorable! Youll work closely with servers and guests, delivering food and beverages with enthusiasm and professionalism. Ready to keep the show running smoothly? Step into the action!

KEY SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Guest Guru: Always address guests by name, observe and respond to requests, and ensure service is complete.
  • Menu Master: Assist servers with presenting menus, answering questions, and making suggestions about food and beverage service.
  • Presentation Pro: Prepare baskets with condiments and sides, confirm orders are accurate and presentable, and serve to guests with a smile.
  • Operations Organizer: Monitor supplies, maintain stock, and keep kitchen/caf areas clean and orderly. Assist servers in keeping service areas tidy, collect and maintain baskets, and relay kitchen times to servers/management.
  • Knowledge Keeper: Stay informed about the menu, drinks, specials, and unavailable items.
  • Checklist Champion: Complete daily/weekly checklists and perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum one year experience in upscale restaurant, hotel/resort, or private club preferred.
  • Certification in liquor, wine, and food service (including Alcohol Awareness) preferred.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and maintain a professional appearance.
  • Strong multitasking and communication skills; must meet minimum age requirements and comply with responsible alcohol service standards.
  • Physical ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, and perform other movements for extended periods.
