Ruder Finn's Technology & Innovation Practice is seeking an experienced, energetic Senior Account Executive for several B2B technology clients ranging from Fortune 500 multinationals to disruptive AI startups. The ideal candidate will provide strategic counsel and execution for clients in the technology sector - spanning AI infrastructure and systems, data and cloud services, and other technology segments. This role will oversee the development, planning and execution of high-quality strategy programs for clients and play a key role in growing new and existing business.

This is a dynamic client-facing role working withhighly engagedsenior executives and leaders with the opportunity to shape a rapidly evolvingcategoryat the forefront of enterprise tech.This individual will need to build strong client relationships,bring aproactiveandentrepreneurialmindset,and drive growth within an agency environment andpossessa strong record of account management, project management, team collaboration,andexceptional client service.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the day-to-day media andKOLstrategist, securing placements for technology accounts

  • Manage the day-to-day client relationship on assigned B2B technology accounts, participating in all client facing meetings and/or calls

  • Provides client counsel that reflects a strong understanding of key client information including industry issues and competitive marketplace as well as products and services provided by the client

  • Ability to work with limited supervision to manage client initiatives and requests from planning through execution and reporting

  • Exhibit effective project management while working closely with senior leadership within the agency

  • Prepare and review activity reports and status reports for clients

  • Serve as a true strategic partner in forwarding the client's media goals

  • Develop recommendations and programs that reflect knowledge of technology media and B2B trade arenas

Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience in public relations, communications or related fieldrequired; B2B technology communicationsrequired

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field

  • Strong verbal and presentation skills with the ability to speak knowledgeable with high level executives internally and externally

  • Excellent writing skills, strong presentation capabilities, and proven media relations skills

  • Strong attention to all phases of account management and ability to proactively and effectively provide client counsel

  • A motivated, independent self-starter with willingness/ability to work in a client-focused, team-oriented environment

  • Curiosity and comfort with integrating AI tools into communications and workflows

Theanticipatedsalary range for this position, at the time of posting, is $67,000- $80,000. The salary of the applicant selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, education, internal equity, geography, relevant years of experience, certifications, skills,abilities of the selected applicant, and other job-related qualifications. In addition, a range of medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefitsalso areavailable by the company.
