Job description

We are hiring for Rubber Door Assembly Technicians to join our manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity for individuals with experience installing flooring, carpet, vinyl flooring, rubber flooring, laminate, or other finish materials who enjoy hands-on work and take pride in producing quality products. This position requires you to be on your knees 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble commercial door components using rubber materials and specialty adhesives.
  • Measure, cut, trim, and fit rubber components to exact specifications.
  • Apply adhesives and install rubber materials while ensuring proper alignment and appearance.
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Read work instructions, drawings, and production specifications.
  • Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and safety guidelines.
  • Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

  • Experience in one or more of the following:
    • Carpet Installation
    • Flooring Installation
    • Vinyl Flooring
    • Rubber Flooring
    • Tile Installatio
  • Strong measuring and layout skills.
  • Ability to use tape measures and hand tools accurately.
  • Good attention to detail and craftsmanship.
  • Ability to be on knees 75% of the day and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.
