To be eligible for a SkillBridge, you must meet the following requirements: * Must be on Active-Duty orders in the U.S. Armed Forces * Must be eligible to participate per DoD Instruction 1322.29.
* Must have all TAP and transition requirements completed prior to the start date.
* Must receive approval from Unit Commander or O4+ in the chain of command. What You Will Do: Training & mentorship opportunities include, but are not limited to: * Managing a high visibility, high mix area
* Material Availability Analysis, Tracking, and Reporting. Manage Kit Readiness including working with cross-functional team in BOM, Material Master, Process Engineering, Operations, and Document Control
* Provide production floor support including replacement part management, shop floor material staging, Work in Progress (WIP) movement through shared resource areas, completion of units in shop floor and MRP system, delivery to next step (inventory or shipment), and meeting MRP schedule. Qualifications You Must Have: * Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field. * Experience to include planning, scheduling, production control, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, finance, project management or a related field.
* Active and transferable Confidential clearance level required at time of application U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain a higher clearance level or program access prior to start date. Qualifications We Prefer: * Experience with MRP, Special Program Access applications
* Experience in Material and Inventory Control-type systems such as Kanban, SMI, Continuous Flow Manufacturing
* Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts
