RN, Clinical Nurse Supervisor

Are you an experienced RN leader who is passionate about caring for medically complex children and young adults while supporting a high-performing clinical team?

Home of the Innocents is seeking a dedicated RN, Clinical Nurse Supervisor to provide leadership and clinical oversight within our Kosair for Kids Complex Care Center. In this role, you'll support nurses and nursing assistants, coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams, and help ensure safe, compassionate, and high-quality care for residents with complex medical needs. A Day in the Life

As the Clinical Nurse Supervisor, you'll provide leadership and clinical oversight to ensure safe, high-quality care for residents of the Kosair for Kids Complex Care Center. You'll support and mentor nursing staff, coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary team members, and help maintain regulatory compliance while promoting positive health outcomes for children and young adults with complex medical, developmental, and physical needs.

Schedule: Night Shift (Self-Scheduling Available) Status: Full-Time (30 hours/week)

How This Position Contributes to Our Mission
  • Supervise and support nurses and nursing assistants to ensure quality and compliance
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including RTs, therapists, physicians, and social workers
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Provide leadership and problem-solving support during assigned shifts
  • Assist with staffing, scheduling, and team development
  • Deliver hands-on nursing care when needed to support resident care
Skills and Qualifications
  • Current, unencumbered Kentucky RN license
  • Associates of Nursing or BSN
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Charge nurse, clinical supervisor, or leadership experience preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Experience working with medically complex patients preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
