Job description

POSITION: Production Operator - Ready to Drink

CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt

REPORTS TO: Operations Manager


Position Summary

Verveโ€™s Ready to Drink (RTD) team is responsible for our specialty extract products and is held to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism. The RTD Production Operator is hands-on and actively improving and monitoring processes and cultivating a positive and enthusiastic work environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Production Process, Development and Optimization, including: CIP, sanitation, coffee extraction, data collection, finished good packaging, order fulfillment, etc.

  • Work as part of a fast-paced team

  • Show initiative, with an inclusive, positive and professional attitude

  • Take an active role in and monitor RTD processes

  • Adaptable with a willingness to learn and take direction

  • Execute daily inventory checks and FIFO order fulfillment

  • Executes stock replenishment for all campus inventory staging areas

  • Load outbound freight efficiently and safely

  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment

  • Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed

  • Performs other general warehouse duties as assigned by department manager

  • Follow all safety procedures and protocols

  • Safely operates handling equipment including, but not limited to, pallet jack, forklift, walkie stacker, and ladder


Qualifications and Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Prior experience in a warehouse setting preferred and 6 months experience in beverage production a plus.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Basic Google Drive, Google Sheets, Microsoft Word and Excel skills

  • Proactive mindset, a problem solver with the ability to work independently and a strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

  • Positive Attitude; Self-Motivated; Active; Safety Conscious



Physical Requirements

The following physical demands outline the requirements necessary for employees to effectively carry out the essential functions of this position. Please note that our facility operates in a non-climate-controlled environment, subjecting employees to varying temperatures, including heat during the summer and cold during the winter.


During the performance of duties, employees are expected to engage in regular communication, auditory perception, and reading tasks. Reasonable accommodations will be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to fulfill essential job functions. This role is dynamic and involves prolonged periods of standing (or being on one's feet for up to 8 hours), walking, bending, stooping, climbing ladders, and crouching throughout the shift. Additionally, employees will be required to lift products and packaging overhead and may frequently handle items weighing between 25 and 70 pounds. Essential vision capabilities for this role encompass close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Furthermore, adept finger and wrist dexterity are essential for successful performance in this position.
