Job description

RTD Talent Solutions is currently representing a well-established Orlando-based GC/CM with 30+ years of success, a strong presence across Central & South Florida working on projects hospitality, multifamily, commercial, education, and entertainment projects. They're known for a preconstruction-driven model, early client engagement, and long-term negotiated work—less hard bid, more strategic partnership.

Position Summary

Support the preconstruction team by performing takeoffs, analyzing subcontractor proposals, and

contributing to detailed and conceptual estimates.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate quantity takeoffs and cost breakdowns.

• Review project details with coordinators to ensure solicitation and coverage from the proper

subcontractors.

• Assist in subcontractor bid solicitation and evaluation.

• Identify and resolve design conflicts and missing information.

• Prepare scope comparison sheets and bid tabs.

• Support preparation of GMP proposals and cost narratives.

• Work collaboratively with internal preconstruction, operations team members as well as Owner and

design team members.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 3–7 years of estimating experience within the construction industry.

• Proficient in takeoff and estimating software systems.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education / Certifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
