Job description

Description:

Manager, Demand Generation

(Chief Attention Grabber, Awareness & Affinity Alchemist, Pipeline Magician)

Glendale, AZ

Job Description

Do you live for the moment a marketing campaign starts producing results you can actually trace? Are you passionate about demand generation, audience targeting, and making it impossible for ideal customers not to know who you are? Do you love both the creative challenge of capturing attention and the analytical rigor of optimizing performance? Do you treat AI as a teammate that multiplies your output? If so, keep reading...

The team at RTA Fleet is looking for a Demand Generation Manager. At its core, this is a content orchestration and distribution role with a clear mission: elevate the RTA Fleet brand and turn that awareness and trust into inbound pipeline. You own the engine that takes our best content, from the Fleet Success Show podcast to webinars, campaigns, and thought leadership, and moves it across every channel to reach fleet buyers where they are, all with heavy AI leverage.

It is a player-coach role inside the larger marketing team. You own the inbound pipeline number, lead a small creative pod, and hand qualified leads to the SDR team. You will manage two people directly: the AV Specialist (podcast, video production, AV for Staff Meetings and RTA Connect Conference) and the Creative Services Manager (design and creative assets, website admin), setting the quality bar and doing the work alongside them.

What We're Looking For

You are someone who:

  • Is sharp, organized, and able to hold the full picture across many campaigns at once without dropping detail.
  • Brings relentless clarity of priorities for yourself and your team, discerning what actually elevates the brand and drives pipeline from the endless list of things that could be done.
  • Thinks like an operator. You instinctively separate signal from noise and know the difference between activity and outcome.
  • Embraces team health and the principles in The Five Dysfunctions of a Team and The Ideal Team Player (Patrick Lencioni).
  • Is AI-fluent and genuinely curious about how agents, prompts, and automated workflows can compound the team's output.
  • Is a lifelong learner who actively levels up. Someone active on LinkedIn, who regularly listens to marketing podcasts, and is an avid book reader/listener. Bonus points if you have read “Extreme Ownership”, “Building a StoryBrand”, “Create Once, Distribute Forever”, “Contagious”, or anything by Robert Cialdini.
  • Holds high standards for quality while still shipping on time. You know when to polish and when to launch.
  • Will pivot quickly, stay positive under pressure, and lift boxes with the team if that is what the day calls for.

Specifically for this job, someone who:

  • Owns an inbound pipeline number and can trace marketing effort all the way to sourced revenue.
  • Runs the content engine behind the brand as an orchestrator: turning the podcast, webinars, and campaigns into a steady flow of multi-format content distributed across every channel our audience is found.
  • Writes well and fast across formats leveraging AI, from landing pages and campaign copy to email sequences and companion articles.
  • Leads a small creative team as a player-coach, directing the AV Specialist and Creative Services Manager while setting the quality bar and doing the work alongside them.
  • Does this sound like you? Let's talk!

What You'll Own

  • Content orchestration and distribution (the core of the role):
  • Runs the weekly RTA Content Flywheel, converting podcast episodes and webinars into multi-format content (hot-take videos, articles, comics, ads) distributed across channels.
  • Publishes podcast episodes and Hot Takes clips to YouTube, Simplecast, Spotify, and the RTA website; writes and posts AEO-optimized companion articles.
  • Writes campaign content across formats: social posts, video scripts, landing and registration pages, direct mail copy, and session titles and abstracts.
  • Owns email execution: the full webinar promotional sequence, pre- and post-event emails, the monthly newsletter, and send execution for product releases and press announcements in HubSpot.
  • Owns SEO and AEO across YouTube and the website, plus post-launch optimization sprints on thumbnails, CTAs, and copy based on performance.
  • Coordinates PR execution: editing press-release drafts, Business Wire uploads, internal distribution, and SME spotlight posts. (Media relationships are shared with the CMO.)

Pipeline and team:

  • Owns the inbound pipeline number: booked meetings and pipeline dollars, with clean handoffs to the SDR team.
  • Manages the AV Specialist and Creative Services Manager as a player-coach.
  • Supports RTA Connect (typically April to October) with event content, registration-driving comms, and LinkedIn activation.
  • Key Results Areas (aka the Job Outcomes)
  • Inbound pipeline grows every trimester, measured by booked meetings and pipeline dollars.
  • Paid media results, funnel conversion rates, and brand awareness trend up month over month.
  • The content engine runs on time and on brand, compounding into inbound demand, with the creative pod shipping consistently and clean handoffs to the SDR team.

Feeling confident that this is in your wheelhouse? Let's put that to the test!
