Overview

We are searching for Restaurant Server Assistants to join our team at an Exclusive Members Only Club Fine Dining Restaurant known as The Ra Ra Room by Major Food Group and Oak View Group in downtown Phoenix. This fine dining concept is hiring experienced hospitality professionals with a strong work ethic to help set and maintain the highest standards of cuisine and professionalism. The Server Assistants will provide ultimate hospitality for guests in a fast-paced, high volume environment.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $12.00 and is tip eligible.

Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching.

This position will remain open until October 30, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in anticipating guests' needs and ensure that service meets/exceeds expectations to ensure a memorable and pleasant dining experience.
  • Inspect dining room, table settings, chairs, floors, proper maintenance, cleanliness and safety
  • Check tables throughout service times for Member satisfaction, and assist in resolving guest issues.
  • Maintains knowledge of the menu and any special items being offered.
  • Pre-buses tables and full buses tables when necessary during peak periods.
  • Maintains availability to work during many peak periods.
  • Maintains high responsiveness to customer desires and requests.
  • Maintains a professional and clean appearance.
  • Communicates with wait staff, bus persons, bartenders, supervisors, and kitchen staff in order to improve communication and coordination so that patrons may be impressed by their dining experience.
  • Builds and maintains knowledge regarding bar offerings so that patron questions may be accurately answered
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of service experience working in a fast-paced, high volume environment preferred.
  • Must have a High School Diploma, G.E.D. or related Food Service Job Experience.
  • Must acquire and maintain a Food Handlers Card, Alcohol Awareness Certification, and other required compliance trainings.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management staff and guest in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.
  • Possesses and exhibits the drive to provide exceptional service.
  • Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to bend, push, pull, and lift heavy objects.
  • Proficient in computer skills including POS systems, Word and Excel.
