Job Description: 
Rock Ridge Community Education is seeking a reliable and proactive On-Call Event Support Specialist to assist with light site management duties during scheduled events. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a flexible, part-time position and are committed to ensuring the success and safety of community programs.
Key Responsibilities:










  • Serve as the on-site contact during scheduled events, ensuring smooth operations and addressing immediate needs as they arise.
  • Perform light custodial tasks, including tidying event spaces, managing trash, and ensuring facilities are presentable before and after events.
  • Secure the building after events, including locking doors, turning off lights, and verifying that all participants have exited the premises.
  • Assist with basic setup and teardown tasks, such as arranging tables and chairs or light equipment.
  • Respond promptly to any facility-related issues during events, escalating concerns when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and guidelines, creating a secure environment for all attendees.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to perform light physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Dependable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Hours and Compensation:

  • This is an on-call position with a maximum of 13.75 hours per week.
  • Hourly rate $20-$25 / Hour.
