Key responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary relationship owner between Pasona and the client, managing stakeholder communication and program performance.

Job description

Pasona N A, Inc. is a global HR and talent solutions firm with more than 40 years of experience helping organizations build strong, high-performing teams in the U.S. market. As part of the Pasona Group — one of Japan’s largest HR services organizations — we deliver Staffing, Executive Search, RPO, HR Advisory and Business Process Outsourcing solutions with a level of cross-cultural fluency that few firms can match.

Our RPO practice is growing. We partner with Japanese-owned and multinational companies across North America to build scalable, embedded hiring programs that make a measurable difference. This role sits at the center of that work.

The Opportunity

This is not a coordinator role. As RPO Project Manager, you own the full delivery of a client hiring program — the recruiting, the relationship, the results. You will lead a dedicated project delivery team, serve as the strategic link between Pasona and the client, and be accountable for hiring outcomes from kickoff through close.

You will work closely with client HR leaders and hiring managers, guiding them through a structured, transparent recruitment process while coaching your delivery team to perform at their best. The work is dynamic, the clients are sophisticated, and the impact is immediate.

If you are a recruiter who has mastered full-cycle delivery and is ready to step into true program ownership — with client accountability, team leadership, and measurable outcomes — this is your next move.

What You’ll DoProgram Delivery & Recruiting Execution
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of RPO client programs, from intake through offer — maintaining quality and pace across all active requisitions.
  • Direct and develop the project delivery team — setting clear expectations, providing coaching, and holding the team accountable to program standards.
  • Drive proactive sourcing strategies — LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS pipelines, direct outreach — tailored to each client’s talent market.
  • Maintain ATS data integrity and ensure the candidate experience reflects Pasona’s commitment to quality throughout every stage.
Client Partnership & Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner between Pasona and the client — the trusted point of contact for all program matters.
  • Lead regular client status meetings — pipeline reviews, data insights, hiring manager alignment, and strategic recommendations.
  • Understand client business context, culture, and talent challenges well enough to anticipate needs — not just respond to them.
  • Support program expansion, contract scoping, and renewal conversations in partnership with RPO leadership.
Program Governance & Performance
  • Own program SLAs, KPIs, and reporting cadences — tracking performance, flagging risks, and escalating where needed.
  • Maintain program documentation — SOPs, intake templates, process maps — and drive continuous improvement across the lifecycle.
  • Deliver regular reports on pipeline health, hiring velocity, and funnel metrics — translating data into clear, actionable insights for client leadership.
What You BringRequired
  • 4–8 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 2 years in an RPO, embedded, or multi-client delivery environment.
  • Experience leading or coordinating a recruiting team — setting direction, tracking output, and developing others.
  • Demonstrated client relationship ownership — status reporting, stakeholder management, and issue resolution without escalating everything up.
  • Proficiency in ATS platforms (JazzHR, Jobvite, Lever, Appyhere, or similar) and comfort presenting recruiting data to client leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills — able to manage multiple competing priorities across clients, requisitions, and internal stakeholders simultaneously.
Preferred
  • Prior experience as an RPO program or account manager with full client ownership.
  • Familiarity with Japanese-owned or Japanese-headquartered companies — their decision-making style, reporting culture, and stakeholder dynamics.
  • Experience building or improving RPO delivery processes — SOP design, intake frameworks, reporting templates.
  • Background in employer branding, talent advisory, or HR process improvement.
Why This Role, Why Pasona
  • Real ownership from day one — you run the program, not just your req list.
  • A client base that generalist RPO firms cannot access — Japanese-owned companies with deep, long-term partnership relationships.
  • A senior-led, collaborative team where your ideas get heard and your growth is actively supported.
  • The stability and global resources of the Pasona Group, with the agility of a growing North American RPO practice.
  • Room to grow — as Pasona’s RPO practice expands, so does the scope and opportunity available to you.
