RPG is currently used for business applications and is compatible with IBM i- or OS/400-based systems. Your responsibilities as an RPG programmer include designing and developing code in RPG, generating reports, and fixing bugs. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in computer science and familiarity with multiple coding languages. RPG programmers often work with other programmers in a corporate office or IT department.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an RPG programmer, and why are they important?
