What is RPA Hyper Automation?

RPA Hyper Automation refers to the combined use of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) with advanced technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and process mining to automate complex business processes end-to-end. Unlike traditional RPA, which automates simple, repetitive tasks, Hyper Automation aims to orchestrate entire workflows, analyze data, and make intelligent decisions. This approach increases efficiency, reduces human intervention, and enables organizations to scale automation across multiple processes.

Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • RPA & Automation Development
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy RPA bots and automation workflows to support operational and revenue cycle processes (e.g., insurance verification, order processing, task closure, non-billable order handling).
  • Build maintainable, resilient automations that interact with web applications, APIs, and enterprise systems.
  • Implement error handling, logging, alerting, and retry mechanisms to ensure automation reliability.
  • Systems Integration
  • Integrate RPA solutions with internal platforms, third-party vendors, and downstream systems using APIs, services, and automation triggers.
  • Collaborate with platform teams using tools such as Power Automate, cloud flows, and bot orchestration frameworks, where applicable.
  • Process Optimization
  • Partner with business, operations, and clinical-adjacent teams to identify automation opportunities and redesign manual processes for efficiency and scalability.
  • Translate business process requirements into technical automation designs.
  • Monitoring & Support
  • Monitor production automations, investigate failures, and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Enhance existing bots to accommodate system changes, rule updates, or new compliance requirements.
  • Governance, Security & Compliance
  • Ensure automations align with HIPAA, security, and internal governance standards.
  • Follow best practices for credential management, access controls, auditability, and change management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or Automation Engineer.
  • Hands-on experience with RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath, Power Automate Desktop, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or similar).
  • Strong programming skills in at least one language (C#, Python, JavaScript, or equivalent).
  • Experience working with APIs, JSON, REST services, and system integrations.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and deployment pipelines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience building automations in healthcare, revenue cycle management, or regulated industries.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform, cloud automation, or hybrid RPA/API designs.
  • Experience supporting production automations with SLAs and monitoring.
  • Understanding of secure credential storage, secrets management, and role-based access.
  • Ability to explain technical automation concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

What Success Looks Like in This Role

· Manual, error-prone workflows are reliably automated and scaled.

· Automations reduce cycle time and operational overhead without introducing risk.

· Bots are stable, observable, and auditable in production.

· Business teams trust automation as a core execution layer.
