We are looking for a Senior Royalty Analyst to join our Business Management and Family Office. This role is responsible for overseeing accurate tracking, analysis, reconciliation, and reporting of royalty income across a diverse portfolio of music and intellectual property assets. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor global revenue streams to ensure clients are receiving all contractually owed income.
  • Provide guidance and review support to junior analysts and staff.
  • Conduct detailed review and analysis of royalty statements from record labels, music publishers, PROs, DSPs, distributors, and administrators.
  • Prepare complex royalty statements, including artist, producer, publisher, profit participation, and mechanical statements on the client’s behalf.
  • Digest massive complex data from multiple sources into clear, actionable reports for clients and their management teams.
  • Develop and maintain detailed income allocation schedules, reconciliations, and analytical reports.
  • Liaise with internal account managers and staff, as well as external labels, publishers, administrators, and PROs.
  • Respond to internal and external royalty and licensing inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
  • Assist with process improvements, documentation, and ad hoc analytical projects.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Deep understanding of copyright law and global royalty collection societies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or similar
  • Expert in MS Excel—pivot tables, look-ups, etc.
  • Royalty Software experience a plus
  • 4 to 8 years in music/entertainment royalties, specifically with experience in a business management or audit firm
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to multi-task
