Route Sales Representative – VANCOUVER, WA
Yearly Pay: $68,000-$72,000
Inderbitzin Distributors, Inc.: We are distinguished as a top-ranking regional distributor for many leading snack food manufacturers including Oberto, Jack Links, and Tillamook Country Smoker. We have an excellent opportunity in our Route Sales Department. This position will require early morning start times.

We are looking for a reliable and energetic individual to join our team in the Vancouver, WA Area. We have one (1) regular full-time position available with medical and vision benefits, Health Savings Account, as well as 401k, paid time off and upon meeting sales goals, you may qualify for quarterly bonuses upward of $1000.00 and additional payouts throughout the year.

All Route Sales teammates have the same goal of properly merchandising our products at various store locations, so we can effectively drive sales. You will be part of a team in your territory that includes a Route Operations Manager, Route Sales Manager, Route Sales Assistant, and other Route Sales Representatives.

The position involves physically demanding work. Some shifts start as early as 4:30 a.m. Monday-Friday (and occasional Saturdays). Teammates must be dependable and able to travel between stores during shifts in Company owned truck. A clean driving record is a must.

We are looking to train self-motivated teammates with a positive mindset and high energy.

Responsibilities:
  • Food and snack delivery to established/existing convenience stores and major grocery accounts
  • Develop and maintain relationship with, store managers and store clerks to identify product opportunities to make sales
  • Write sales orders and fill store needs with optimal product mix based on constantly changing demands
  • Ensure sales orders are placed on time and accurately to reduce operational inefficiencies associated with late orders and late adjustments
  • Driving a commercial vehicle, typically a 20-foot box truck. No CDL required.
  • Push and pull a heavy cart while frequently bending, twisting, kneeling and lifting up to 40 lbs.
  • Efficiently merchandise products from delivery cart to retail stock store shelves
  • Maintain quality snack/food inventory at store level.
  • Condense unsold product, re-position product to constantly changing store needs

Safety-Sensitive Position
This is a Safety Sensitive Position. Applicants for positions defined as safety sensitive are required to undergo drug testing prior to employment and, subsequent to commencement of employment, will be subject to random, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, return-to-duty, and follow-up drug and alcohol testing protocols.
