JOB SUMMARY The Fleet Network Optimization Analyst is an individual contributor role responsible for supporting the analysis, monitoring, and optimization of Stevens Transport's regional fleet networks. This position partners closely with fleet leadership to evaluate lane performance, asset utilization, and overall network efficiency to ensure operational readiness for growth, including support of emerging regional operations.

Stevens welcomes analytical, detailoriented, and forwardthinking professionals who are motivated by datadriven problem solving and operational impact. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy collaborating with operations leaders and influencing decisions through insight rather than authority.

This role is designed to provide analytical and operational support, not people management, and serves as a technical and operational contributor within the Regional and Dedicated Operations team.

Please note this position is on-site at Stevens Transport HQ in Dallas, TX.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze regional fleet and lane performance, including:
    • Revenue
    • Modeling
    • Miles per truck
    • Load cadence
    • Deadhead percentages
    • Asset utilization
  • Support regional fleet planning through lane analysis, routing cadence reviews, and performance tracking.
  • Assist in evaluating new and expanding regional lanes to support growth decisions.
  • Develop recurring reports and dashboards to support fleet performance reviews.
  • Identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities within regional operations.
  • Partner with Operations, Planning, and Network leadership on data requests and operational analysis.
  • Translate complex operational data into clear insights and executiveready summaries
  • Prepare summaries and insights to support leadership decisionmaking.
  • Maintain documentation and data integrity related to fleet performance tracking.

QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Analytics, or related field.
  • 2-5 years experience in:
    • Fleet or Transportation operations
    • Transportation or network planning
    • Load planning, dispatch analytics, or operational analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret operational data and deliver actionable insights.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in assetbased, dedicated, or regional trucking environments.
  • Exposure to regional fleet or multilane operations.
  • Familiarity with transportation KPIs and TMS data.
  • Working knowledge of reporting or visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
