What is route management?

Route management is the process of planning, optimizing, and overseeing the delivery or transportation routes for vehicles, goods, or services. It involves using software or logistical strategies to ensure that routes are efficient, cost-effective, and meet customer or organizational requirements. Effective route management can help reduce fuel costs, improve delivery times, increase customer satisfaction, and minimize environmental impact by optimizing travel distances and schedules.
