About Us:
Bernick's is a 5th generation family-owned provider of beverages, vending and food solutions, representing leading brands such as Pepsi, Dr Pepper, Miller Brewing Company and New England Coffee. We service locations in greater MN and western WI.
Job Summary:
Route Assistants provide our Drivers with assistance during their routes and customer deliveries, working together and partnering as a team.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure our beverage products get unloaded off the truck and into our customer locations.
  • Restocking, rotating, facing, and removing outdated product, Route Assistants neatly organize store shelves and cooler spaces.
  • Regularly lift and move product weighing 50-165 pounds
  • Route Assistants mainly ride along with one of our Drivers, but there may be times you are responsible for your own transportation to and from locations.
  • Working in a fast-paced, physical environment
HOURS: Full-time
  • Four, 10-hour days
  • 5:00AM-route completion
  • Most routes are Tuesday-Friday, some schedules vary
Requirements
Requirements:
  • Have Valid Driver's License
  • Have Driving record which meets Bernick's standard
  • Repetitively bend, lift, twist, while moving product about
  • Work well independently and as a team
  • Effectively communicate with Drivers and customers
  • Travel may be required as part of this role to support various Bernick's locations, events, or business needs. A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) will be conducted as part of the hiring process and evaluated in relation to the requirements of the role.
  • Team members in this position may be required to handle, move, and work with a variety of products, including alcoholic beverages, nicotine products, pork products, and other regulated consumer goods.
