Job description

Senior Data Architect (Cloud)

Ready to shape the future of data? Join us as a Senior Cloud Data Architect Contractor and lead modernization and cloud innovation on a flagship project that impacts millions of learners. Build the next-gen enterprise data ecosystem and make a real difference in education community!

Target bill rate: $75-80/hour and a contract-to-perm duration of 6 months to 1 year.

Conversion Salary: $163500 - $212500.

Hiring Manager/Title: Amit Seth, Senior Director Software Engineering and Systems Architecture

Desired recruitment area: Must live within a commutable distance to Herndon, VA or in one of the Clearinghouse's approved States for hiring purposes. Refer to our HR Policies Page, located on our Careers site for more details.

Hybrid work expectation: Primarily remote but may be expected to report in office as required.

Duration: 6 months – 1 year (estimated), with potential to convert to full time if performance and attendance are aligned with expectations

Schedule: Core business hours 8AM – 5PM ET.

Must be flexible to do out-of-town assignments, and travel via car, train, and airplane occasionally when needed (up to 10%).

May be required to provide on-call remote, or 24/7 technical support.

The hiring process is:

Round #1: Virtually with hiring manager for 30 minutes. If the hiring manager would like to proceed further, they will be advanced accordingly:

Round #2: Virtually with 2-3 technical team members for 60 minutes.

Round #3: Virtually with IT leadership for 60 minutes.
