Middle School Principal for 2026-2027

Qualifications, Education, and Certification:

  • Valid Texas Principal Certification required
  • Experience in a secondary classroom preferred
  • Experience in an administrative (nonโ€‘classroom) role preferred

Responsibilities, Expectations, Special Knowledge, and Skills:

  • Ability to lead and supervise campus personnel
  • Possess a highโ€‘level of knowledge in curriculum, instruction, and best practices for classrooms
  • Create, lead, and supervise a campus schedule
  • Communicate effectively with staff, parents, students, district administrators, and community members
  • Manage the campus budget and building operations
  • Prioritize demanding tasks
  • Ability to problemโ€‘solve and utilize strong decisionโ€‘making skills
  • Promote high expectations for students and staff
  • Coordinate state testing and training
  • Willing to attend and supervise a variety of extracurricular activities
  • Other duties as assigned
