Job description

Are you passionate about sports and helping young children stay active? Join our team at Amazing Athletes JumpBunch of Southern CT as a Youth Sports Coach for toddlers and preschoolers! We are currently hiring for school year/year round positions with the goal of starting training in early/mid August. Applicants must be available throughout the school year in order to be considered for a position.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to teach children ages 18 months to 6 years the basic fundamentals of various sports in a fun and non-competitive environment. Our goal is to encourage healthy habits and build confidence in young athletes while ensuring they have a great time!

This position offers flexibility with part-time hours and competitive pay. Classes are typically held in the mornings and early afternoons, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Requirements

- Must be reliable to work a set schedule, but can be flexible on the days of the week. Coaches work primarily in the morning and early afternoon.

- Experience working with toddlers and preschool-aged children (professional experience is preferred but not mandatory).

- A positive attitude and a love for sports and teaching young children.

- Must be at least 18 years old and possess a clean criminal background check.

- Reliable transportation is required for traveling to different locations within the community. This job requires traveling of upwards of 30 minutes or more. Long distance travel will be reimbursed.

- CPR certification is a plus, though not required.

- Ability to maintain a positive relationship with parents, teachers, and staff at daycare/preschool locations.
