Job description

    The operation of injection molding machines for production. Maintain molding machines, auxiliary equipment, material and their processes to produce quality products for internal and external customers in a safe and productive manner.

    Essential Duties

  • Maintain production of injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment and processes.

  • Maintain a clean, safe work area.

  • Read and understand operation layouts and blueprints.

  • Maintain quality of work as required and report any discrepancies.

  • Inspect component features in accordance with inspection procedure

  • Package parts as detailed in process specifications and maintain inve

  • Troubleshoot the manufacturing process to diagnose and resolve anticipated or actual manufacturing problems that may affect product quality.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Ability to operate assigned equipment.

  • Ability to perform various operations under minimum supervision, while maintaining required levels of quality and quantity.

  • Demonstrated skill and ability to use precision measuring equipment.

  • Knowledge and adherence to safety rules and practices.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Ability to stand/sit/walk, for up to eight hours per day.

  • Frequent, repetitive elbow movements.

  • Reaching, grasping, gripping and fine manipulation with hands is required.

  • Ability to occasionally stoop, bend, lift and/or load up to 40 pounds.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Completion of Math for Manufacturing and Basic Blueprint Reading for Manufacturing.

  • Personal computer skills.

  • Prior experience in the operation of injection molding equipment.

  • Previous experience inspecting components.

The base pay range for this position is listed below, exclusive of fringe benefits or other compensation. If you are hired, your final base hourly rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, competencies, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
