Job description

UMB Commercial Banking & Lendingprovidesacomprehensive solutionto commercial organizations of all sizes.On this Credit Analyst team, you gain the knowledge and skill to understand UMB's Commercial lending philosophy.You will gain broad understanding of loan processes and gain the skills needed to grow your career in UMB's Commercial Lending team.

As the Sr Credit Analyst, you provide the initial analysis of every commercial loan for UMB. The Credit Analysis team works ondifferent types of loans and sizesacross all markets and verticals. As a Sr Credit Analyst, you will work with the Loan Officers to review new loan information for approval. In this role, you will have the opportunity to attend loan committee, participate in a credit rotation program, and interface with senior management.

How you'll spend your time:

  • Youwill spread and analyze information regarding various companies'credit standingtoachieve loan approval.
  • You will analyze various companies'relationships with UMBto gain a wholistic view of overall financial health.
  • You will produce the formal credit write up to summarize thecredit standing for approval.
  • Work on the more complex loan write ups
  • Assist in training Credit Analysts and other associates that rotate through the Credit Department
  • Present loan proposals to Discount Committee on a rotating basis to assist during peak times.
  • Produce reports pertaining to various aspects of credit for review by senior management including the Board Report

  • You have completed yourbachelor's degree in business,finance or related area.
  • 2 years of Credit Department or other loan related experience
  • OR equivalent work experience
  • Have completed 6hoursof Accounting at a collegiate level.
  • Preferred experience in underwriting middle market, franchise, leveraged lending, and/or national companies

Compensation Ranges:

US Employees in California, Washington DC, New Jersey, and New York:

$54,220 - $79,020

US Employees in Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin:

$49,510 - $72,340

US Employees in all other states not listed above:

$44,790 - $65,650
