Position Specific Description
In the role of the Associate Wind Site Manager, you will assume responsibility for all operational facets on the maintenance and repair of a wind power plant facility. Your chief priority will be ensuring the team's safety while concurrently focusing on maximizing performance and profitability per the operational framework. This will necessitate devising and executing strategies to elevate maintenance practices, diagnostic capabilities, and overall operational efficiency, resulting in heightened customer satisfaction and reduced service expenditures.
The next Leadership Development Program cohort will begin on November 3rd, 2026. The candidate selection process will take place throughout March and April. Onboarding will be held at our Renewable Training Center in Iowa for 3 weeks. Once complete, candidates will return home to begin the Leadership Development Program- Wind Operations. Preferred Qualifications
Leaders in this job are responsible for the daily management and leadership of a wind power generation facility. Individuals are responsible for the overall safe and reliable operation of the wind site.
Monitors, controls, and forecasts plant budgets and ensures compliance with all contractual obligations
Interfaces with land owners, utilities, regulatory agencies, and local government and community representatives
Maintains all company supplied equipment, facilities, and tooling
Ensures compliance to all company safety and environmental policies
Performs other collateral duties in support of the Power Generation Division (PGD) portfolio
Uses computer based applications
Completes reports and paperwork
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
