Job Summary:
Findhelp is a mission-driven organization focused on connecting people to social care resources. As a Senior Staff Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure, you will develop processes and tools for engineering teams, ensuring service availability and designing infrastructure-as-code solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Understand and take ownership of existing GCP and Cloudflare infrastructure, including costs.
• Design and implement the next iteration of infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Understand and take ownership of existing monitoring and alerting stack.
• Design and implement the next iteration of monitoring and alerting.
• Participate in team 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Assist team in work related to build tools and deployment pipelines.
• Contribute consistently to efforts spanning multiple engineering divisions and departments, both in implementation and architecture.
• Understand how your work affects real users and their needs and build that into your work and mentorship.
• Weigh tradeoffs and priorities with parties on other teams and departments.
• Model positive behavior in complex technical and project management interactions.
• Coach others on work management and proactively prevent blockers and conflict.
• Share your experience to help others advance in their development.
• Ask for help when you need it.
• Given a team objective of any scope, plan and execute the work necessary to get it from idea to done.

Qualifications:
Required:
• At least eight (8) years of experience, a significant portion of which should have come at a cloud-based SaaS company
• Significant experience designing and maintaining Cloud infrastructure with infrastructure-as-code required, experience with GCP and Terraform OSS preferred
• Significant experience designing and maintaining Cloud networking, experience with Cloudflare Workers preferred
Preferred:
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
• Significant experience with Devops and SRE techniques and practices preferred, especially in Python and JavaScript-based applications
