Join our team and embark on an exciting journey towards a rewarding career in hospitality management.
Program Summary: The Leadership Development Program (LDP) is an intensive, 3-month development program designed to grow your hospitality business acumen and hone your leadership skills. Through an exciting, fast-paced, rotational experience, you will receive hands-on training and assume meaningful and challenging responsibilities, thus acquiring a deep understanding of end-to-end operations and a holistic view of a division. Participation in development opportunities, learning seminars, essential skill-building and mentoring, along with exposure to executives, will prepare you for a leadership role at an accelerated rate.
The LDP will provide professional development opportunities in the following areas:
Operations & Hospitality:
Participate in the training program in order to learn and experience all roles within the operation
Provide full-cycle service with front of house, back of house, and bar operations
Coordinate communication between departments
Maintain guest satisfaction by applying service standards
Supervise staff and provide assistance, as needed
Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulations
Learn and understand financial reports
Learn the accounting and financial responsibilities, and perform as requested
Monitor inventory levels and learn how to place orders when needed
Forecasting and invoicing, as requested
Maintain industry knowledge with emerging trends
Human Resources:
Learn recruiting and interviewing strategies and how to arrange for new employees' onboarding
Assist with time and attendance information that supports payroll processing
Prepare shift schedules, as requested
Ensure compliance with Company policies
Culinary:
Understand kitchen operations while maintaining safety in the kitchen, proper usage of PPE, food safety and sanitation, and quality control
Communicate with BOH to ensure smooth service
Catering:
Learn the procedure for answering event inquiries and conducting property tours
Assist with the planning stages of upcoming events, including but not limited to, menu planning, room setup, and pricing
Work with management to ensure proper staffing
Assist with day-of-event logistics
Marketing/Social Media:
Learn marketing strategies to advertise upcoming events and venue specific promotions
Understand social media platforms
Monitor third party reviews and respond to guest inquiries/complaints, as requested
Project Management:
Create and implement a solution
Measure and report on the outcome
Complete an LDP project including a development plan for course completion
Qualifications:
