Job description

Summary:
The Kitchen Supervisor at Rosen Hotels & Resorts ensures the kitchen staff works together as a team to provide optimum service based on Company Standards. They are responsible for inspecting the grooming and attire of staff, completing opening and closing duties, and assisting in hiring, training, and scheduling employees
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the kitchen staff, including cooks and prep chefs, to ensure efficient and smooth operations
  • Inspect grooming and attire of staff, addressing any deficiencies or concerns
  • Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, and locking doors
  • Assist the management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees
  • Follow all company and safety policies and procedures, including food safety regulations
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager
  • Follow Company Standards for guest service and maintain a positive and friendly attitude with guests and team members
  • Adhere to the drug-free and tobacco/nicotine-free policies of the company
  • All other duties as assigned.

Experience/Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of previous food & beverage experience required.
  • Minimum one year of previous leadership experience required.
  • Ability to lift- up to 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. infrequently
  • Must be able to legally work in the USA.

Education and Certification(s)/License(s):
  • Associate's degree in Restaurant Management or related field preferred.
  • Food Handlers Certification required.
