  • Enforce company Safety rules and procedures throughout the department and follow set example
  • Create 5s activities and enforce them throughout the department
  • Ensure all D/T calls are responded to efficiently, counter measured and supported as needed
  • Assist technicians with root cause analysis for D/T
  • Identify critical spare parts and order them as needed
  • Ensure PM system is on schedule and effective
  • Perform Root cause analysis on top downtime items and implement countermeasures
  • Monitor lines to ensure countermeasures are effective
  • Perform PM tasks as scheduled. Assist in repairing defects and identify areas for improvement
  • Perform Root Cause analysis for any quality related incidents and provide countermeasures
  • Support engineering with new equipment setup trials
  • Communicate existing and new equipment failures with engineering and management
  • Support QA during Quality incident investigations and implement appropriate countermeasures
  • Perform cost reduction activities to reduce overall operating costs
  • Prepare and ensure that all items necessary for PM and Projects are readily available
