Job description

Own the Problem. Engineer the Fix. Elevate the System.

Join us as the Root Cause and CAPA Quality Specialist and be the go-to partner to our Quality Manager. You’ll safeguard our QMS so it meets customer commitments, internal policies, ISO/TS 16949 requirements, and all regulatory expectations—while driving lasting solutions across our supplier network and production floor.

Impact You’ll Make
  • Customer + Supplier Liaison: Communicate daily with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to clarify needs and close the loop on issues.
  • Root Cause Leadership: Lead structured analyses and countermeasures for internal, customer, and supplier concerns using 8D, Honda 5P, and Why/Why.
  • Audit Excellence: Plan and perform internal and supplier audits in line with IATF 16949.
  • Supplier Development: Translate customer expectations into actionable supplier requirements; cultivate strong, collaborative relationships.
  • Performance Visibility: Produce monthly supplier performance reports for qualified partners.
  • Validation Rigor: Conduct process and product capability studies to support product validation.
  • On-the-Floor Support: Provide daily assistance to Department Managers and production team members.
How We Work

We believe quality is a team sport. You’ll collaborate across functions, use Microsoft Word/PowerPoint/Excel to communicate and analyze, and apply precision metrology (calipers, micrometers) to verify outcomes. Every fix strengthens our system.

QualificationsMust-Haves
  • Background as a Customer or Supplier Quality Engineer with direct customer contact.
  • Proven RCA expertise to get to the true cause and implement effective solutions.
  • CAPA practitioner—leveraging corrective and preventive action to reduce nonconformities and other adverse conditions.
  • Decision-maker comfortable with ambiguity; able to influence results.
  • Strong Microsoft platform proficiency; daily use of Word, PowerPoint, Excel; excellent typing skills.
  • Expertise with measuring tools: calipers, micrometers, and similar instruments.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience in bolt manufacturing (heading, threading, heat treat, plating).
  • Auditing experience to ISO/TS and preferably IATF 16949 standards.
Your Growth Path

Master audits, deepen supplier development, and expand your influence across the full lifecycle of quality—from voice of the customer to validated product performance.
