Job Summary:
The Room Service Sales Agent is responsible for accurately and efficiently taking room service orders, upselling menu items, and ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction by delivering a professional and courteous experience.
Job Responsibilities:

Answer all incoming room service calls promptly and professionally, adhering to established service standards.
Accurately take guest food and beverage orders, confirming all details and special requests.
Possess a thorough knowledge of the room service menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens.
Actively upsell and suggestive sell menu items, beverages, and desserts to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
Process orders through the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently.
Communicate effectively with kitchen and delivery staff to ensure timely and correct order fulfillment.
Resolve guest complaints or concerns regarding room service orders in a professional and timely manner, escalating issues to management when necessary.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to food safety and hygiene.
Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
Job Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a customer service, sales, or hospitality role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong sales and upselling abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems; experience with hotel management systems is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
Must be able to stand and sit for extended periods.
