Description:Position Summary

Tikra Roofing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent to oversee commercial roofing projects across various job sites. This role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality installations, maintaining safety standards, and keeping projects on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate is highly organized, hands-on, and capable of leading crews across multiple locations. Regular travel is required to support regional and out-of-town projects.


Key Responsibilities
  • On-Site Management:
    Lead all field operations for assigned commercial roofing projects, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.
  • Crew Leadership:
    Supervise and coordinate in-house crews and subcontractors, promoting a culture of accountability and craftsmanship.
  • Project Scheduling:
    Maintain detailed schedules and work plans in alignment with project milestones and deadlines. Communicate updates with project managers and leadership.
  • Quality Assurance:
    Inspect work daily to ensure compliance with manufacturer specs, company standards, and job-specific scopes. Address any issues or deviations promptly.
  • Safety Enforcement:
    Promote and enforce strict safety standards in accordance with OSHA and Tikra Roofing policies. Conduct site safety meetings and monitor proper use of PPE.
  • Material & Equipment Coordination:
    Oversee delivery, inventory, and storage of materials and tools. Prevent material waste and ensure proper usage.
  • Client & Inspector Communication:
    Act as the on-site representative for Tikra Roofing during client visits, inspections, and walkthroughs. Foster positive relationships with GCs, owners, and inspectors.
  • Travel:
    Willingness and availability to travel to job sites across Texas and surrounding states as needed. Overnight stays are common based on project location.

Requirements:Qualifications
  • 3+ years of commercial roofing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role preferred
  • Knowledge of commercial roofing systems, including TPO,PVC,Shingles
  • Proven ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors
  • Strong understanding of construction schedules, scopes of work, and jobsite safety
  • Comfortable with mobile technology for reporting, timesheets, and communication
  • OSHA 30-hour certification required or must be obtained within 60 days of hire
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly for out-of-town jobs
