Job description

American Roof Warriors, an industry leader in restoration for exterior home improvement, is seeking a dedicated Project Manager - Residential Roofing. This position is crucial as it involves daily on-site presence and fieldwork as required.

The Project Manager will be responsible for a variety of tasks including permit pulling, providing ladder assists, conducting job site inspections, and maintaining effective communication with our crews to ensure the successful completion of roofing, siding, and gutter projects. The role also includes performing service calls as needed and working closely with the Branch Manager to facilitate communication between our production crews and sales team regarding job progression and status updates.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a solid background in the construction industry, particularly in roofing, siding, and gutter installation. Experience in installing, repairing, and servicing asphalt shingles, vinyl siding, and aluminum gutters is highly desirable. The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards and that customer satisfaction is achieved after each job is completed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily/weekly job builds and services
  • Pull and deliver build permits as needed
  • Provide ladder assist for inspections
  • Perform pre, mid, and post build inspections on jobs
  • Ensure customer satisfaction after built job
  • Act as liaison between Trojan Roofing Sales Department and Production Crews
  • Directly facilitate sourcing, interviewing, and hiring of Production Crews
  • Manage employee payroll deliveries and distributions
  • Assist Corporate Fleet Manager as needed

Requirements

  • Previous experience/knowledge in the Roofing, Siding, and/or Gutter industry required
  • Must have own reliable vehicle (Truck preferred)
  • Prior Project Management experience, or foreman of crew preferred
  • Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office suite preferred
  • Previous experience negotiating and contracting with crews and pay
  • Ability to work with multiple groups to schedule work and trades accordingly
  • Detail oriented, and strong organizational skills
  • Must have, or obtain, a smart phone capable of downloading apps and taking pictures
  • Ability to lift 50lbs or more
