Job description

Position Overview: The position of Field Superintendent is responsible for scheduling and supervising commercial production and service roofing crews on multiple jobsites and locations. This position manages projects from start to finish, ensuring the highest level of craftsmanship, quality and production. Position Responsibilities: Schedule and supervise roofing field operations with daily worksite visits to ensure project specifications are met. Regularly inspect work progress, equipment and jobsites to ensure all work order details and safety protocols are followed. Work closely with Production foremen to train roofing field staff with an emphasis on safety and employee development. Maintain documentation of projects, identifying variances, monitor expenditures and implement corrective action when necessary. Coordinate inspections from manufacturers and governing authorities, as needed. Communicate with Operations Manager regularly on work progress. Conduct materials inventory as needed. Additional duties as assigned. Position Requirements: Commercial roofing experience, 5+ years, required. Supervisory experience, 2+ years, required.
