Office Manager – Roofing & Construction


D&J Roofing, Inc | Costa Mesa, CA

Pay: $35.00–$45.00 per hour (DOE)

Job Type: Full-Time


D&J Roofing is a well-established roofing contractor serving Orange County. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Office Manager who can take ownership of the daily administrative operations of our office. The ideal candidate has experience in the construction industry, is highly organized, communicates professionally, and can manage multiple projects while supporting our field and office teams.

Applicants with prior construction office experience will be given priority.

Responsibilities

● Prepare and send customer invoices

● Create and maintain job folders and job sheets

● Track employee timecards and assist with payroll

● Process and track city permits and inspections

● Prepare and manage change orders

● Process accounts payable and pay company bills

● Maintain project documentation and contracts

● Coordinate with project managers, crews, suppliers, and customers

● Answer incoming phone calls and emails professionally

● Keep office files organized and up to date

● Assist ownership with administrative and operational tasks

Required Qualifications

● Previous roofing or construction office experience is strongly preferred and will receive hiring priority

● Minimum 3 years of office management or administrative experience

● Experience with QuickBooks

● Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

● Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

● Strong written and verbal communication

● Ability to work independently, prioritize work, and solve problems

● High level of accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail
