What You'll Do
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement tools to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost
  • Analyze process performance using data-driven methods to identify waste, variability, and improvement opportunities
  • Lead or support process improvement projects and operational excellence initiatives
  • Work in field roles to learn processes and procedures
  • Train on and Safely operate mechanical equipment as required
  • Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture
  • Gain hands on experience with large-scale manufacturing processes, equipment, material flow, and production systems
What You'll Need
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies preferred
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or Operational Excellence initiatives preferred
  • Ability to analyze data, solve complex problems, and drive practical, sustainable improvements
  • Ability to work within all levels of the organization (shop floor to upper management)
  • Possess High Integrity and work under the guidelines of CMC's core values
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and be available upon the needs of the business; to include occasional shift work
  • Critical thinking, strong analytical and problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Office programs - Outlook, Word, Excel, Power point, and Microsoft Project
  • Shows a safety first mindset; recommends improvements to make the workplace safer for self and others
  • Understanding of the industrial manufacturing environemnt, including shop-floor operations and production workflows
