Position Summary
The Rollback Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation, loading, and unloading of tanks, equipment, and related materials to customer and company locations. This role requires operating a rollback (flatbed tow) truck, ensuring proper securement of loads, and maintaining compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety standards.
Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a rollback truck to transport tanks, fuel equipment, and related materials
  • Safely load and unload equipment using winches, straps, chains, and other securement devices
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT requirements
  • Ensure all loads are properly secured and compliant with safety regulations
  • Deliver equipment to customer sites while maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Assist with placement and basic setup of tanks and equipment when required
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, inspection reports, and required documentation
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams regarding schedules and delivery status
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle
Qualifications
  • Valid CDL (Class A or B) preferred (or as required by vehicle weight)
  • Clean driving record with the ability to meet company insurance requirements
  • Previous experience operating rollback, flatbed, or similar equipment preferred
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance
  • Ability to operate winches and securement equipment safely
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
  • Good communication and customer service skills
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs
  • Frequent climbing, bending, and standing
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Work Schedule
  • Monday through Friday; occasional weekends as needed
