Schedule:Monday through Thursday 5 AM to 3:30 PM or Monday through Thursday 5 AM to 5:30 PM
General Summary of Position
The Metal Fabrication - Roll-Form Operatorwill safely control various machines and equipment involved in production.
Essential (Core Competencies) Duties
Operates production machinery inaccordance with prints and specifications. Assigned machines may includeroll-former, grinder, band saw, and similar equipment.
Produces the required quantity ofparts within established specifications and tolerances.
Measures finished parts with precisiontools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
Maintains logs and records of unitsproduced including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discardedpieces.
Inspects equipment prior to use toensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments andmaintenance.
Maintains a clean, safe, and orderlywork area.
Attends and/or completes welder andsafety training (through KLOVER Learning Management System) as required bymanagement.
Performs other related duties asassigned.
Marginal Functions
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Required Educationand Experience
High school diploma or GED.
Previous experience with operating aroll-former in a manufacturing environment
Previous experience moving heavymaterials around an active job site or manufacturing shop
Ability to follow directions and workwell in a team.
Ability to interpret and translateengineering designs (blueprints), shop drawings, and other pertinentdocumentation.
Thorough understanding of or theability to quickly learn production equipment.
Strong analytical and problem-solvingskills.
Understanding of and the ability toabide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.
Preferred Education and Experience:
2+ years' experience with operating aroll-former in a manufacturing environment

Work Environment
The work environment will consistmainly of heavy work in a manufacturing environment. There may be some exposureto seasonal humidity and extreme heat over 85 degrees, excessive noise, andsome vibration associated with the use of tools and equipment. Some hazardssuch as proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, causticchemical, and slippery and uneven walking surfaces exist.

Due to the physical nature of theposition, employee must have full dexterity of their hands and arms.
Employee must be able to see objectsclose and far away
At times, multiple sounds can be heardas employee is working on job, employee must have the ability to focus on thesound in particular that is associated with the task they are completing.
Employees with any sort of hearingimpairment would not be considered fit for duty to perform this position.
Due to the safety sensitive nature ofthe position, at all times, employee must be fit for duty and not report towork under the influence of a mind altering or performance alteringsubstance.
