Job description

TITLE: LITIGATION PARALEGAL (NJ-hybrid)

Job Summary:

Boutique law firm seeking a Litigation Paralegal with 3+ years of experience supporting complex commercial/business litigation. This role is ideal for a proactive paralegal who wants to operate as a true partner to attorneys—not just administrative support.

Responsibilities:

  • Support commercial litigation matters from inception through trial
  • Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal documents (state & federal courts)
  • Manage discovery, including eDiscovery platforms, document review, and production
  • Conduct legal research and cite-checking
  • Prepare trial materials, exhibits, witness binders, and deposition prep
  • Handle e-filing, calendaring, and case tracking deadlines
  • Maintain organized digital document management systems

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience (law firm required)
  • Strong experience with commercial/corporate litigation
  • Proficiency in eDiscovery tools and legal research platforms
  • Excellent drafting, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Preferred:

  • Experience with M&A, IP, real estate, or employment litigation
  • Paralegal certificate (ABA-approved) or related degree
