Position
The Senior Foundation Officer is responsible for overseeing all aspects of our full suite of administrative services for a portfolio of Private Foundation clients. This individual will serve as the main point of contact, building strong, lasting relationships while ensuring compliance with rules and regulations that govern private foundations. This individual will play a key role in creating long-term client relationships and contributing to the continued growth and success of the Private Foundation Administration product at Rockefeller Global Family Office.
Responsibilities
  • Serves as the key contact for private foundation clients, providing guidance, best practices, and high-touch relationship management.
  • Oversee all aspects of administration including grants management and administration, tax preparation, state filings, compliance monitoring, ad-hoc reporting, distribution monitoring, budget preparation, and meeting facilitation.
  • Provides excellent, seamless onboarding experiences for new clients.
  • Responsible for initial configuration of clients' grants management portal and ongoing support and enhancements.
  • Liaises with internal departments on day-to-day operations.
  • Identifies opportunities for philanthropic advisory services to enhance clients' philanthropic legacies.
  • Applies foundation governing document provisions consistent with applicable statutes, regulations, and compliance standards.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5-7 years of related experience, preferably working with high-net and ultra-high-net worth individuals and families

Skills
  • Strong relationship management skills with proven track record of long-term client relationships
  • Understanding of fiduciary concepts and legal policies related to foundation administration
  • Familiarity with accounting and tax processes related to foundation administration
  • Tech savvy with the ability to learn and utilize several platform types
  • Strong attention to details with excellent analytical skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
  • Adept problem-solver with excellent organizational and project management skills

Compensation Range
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $130,000 to $150,000. Base salary for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. In addition, this role may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
