Supervisor: Middle & Upper School Division Head
Position Status: This position is a salaried, exempt, full-time, regular, 10-month position.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Teaching experience in secondary education
• Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Teach 5 sections of relevant class(es)in a seven-period schedule
• Work directly with other grade level teachers as part of a professional team
• Work vertically with the larger middle school team to collaborate and develop and enrich robust learning opportunities
• Advise students as part of the Middle School Advisory Program
• Attend scheduled committee and faculty meetings, both during and after-school
• Contribute to the larger school community by working carpool duties, participating in curriculum night and open house. We also welcome employees with an interest coaching and sponsoring other extracurricular programs.
