Job description

The Product Engineer role in Global Manufacturing Engineering at Google focuses on developing custom silicon solutions for Google's direct-to-consumer products. The position is part of the AI and Infrastructure team, which aims to deliver breakthrough capabilities and insights at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal and external engineers to enhance product manufacturing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Analyze and resolve manufacturing yield issues to ensure high-quality product delivery.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product engineering, manufacturing, or development management.
  • Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience (preferred).
  • 8 years of experience in product engineering, manufacturing, or development management (preferred).
  • Experience developing and integrating electrical and mechanical hardware with power/cooling/networking infrastructure (preferred).
  • Experience working with contract manufacturing partners (preferred).
