  • Design, develop, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test procedures for new features, product enhancements, and regression testing.
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and verify software defects using Atlassian Jira.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and system testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and fellow QA engineers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Validate software fixes and verify that reported defects have been resolved without introducing regressions.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining automated test frameworks and automated regression test suites where appropriate.
  • Execute testing on physical robotic systems as well as supporting cloud services and web-based applications.
  • Analyze test results, investigate unexpected behavior, and communicate findings clearly to development teams.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate test documentation, execution records, and quality metrics.
  • Configure and maintain Linux-based test environments and assist with troubleshooting issues encountered during testing.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, release validation, and other Agile software development activities.
  • Continuously evaluate existing testing processes and recommend improvements to increase product quality and testing efficiency.
  • Stay abreast of emerging software quality assurance tools, technologies, and testing methodologies.
  • Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What is the experience needed to be successful in this role?
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Robotics, or a related technical field preferred.
  • 2-3 years of Quality Assurance (QA) experience, software testing experience, or software development experience with responsibilities related to testing and validating code.
  • Knowledge of software quality assurance principles, methodologies, and best practices.

  • Experience developing and executing manual and automated test cases.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience testing web applications, REST APIs, and integrated software systems.
  • Working knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
  • Experience using issue tracking and test management tools, including Atlassian Jira.
  • Ability to analyze software behavior, reproduce defects, and document findings clearly and accurately.
  • Familiarity with regression, integration, functional, and system testing techniques.
