Join the team at Eck Industries, a leading aluminum foundry in Manitowoc, WI. We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals to support our automated cleaning operations by tending robotic work cells and ensuring the smooth flow of parts through the production process. Our cast aluminum components are used in aerospace, defense, and other demanding industries where quality, precision, and reliability are critical.
In this role, you will be responsible for supplying robotic cells and related equipment with the materials and products needed to maintain efficient production. You will also monitor downstream equipment and processes, help maintain workflow, and ensure parts move through the operation safely and effectively. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, take pride in keeping operations running smoothly, and want to be part of a team producing components that make a real impact, we'd love to talk with you.
What You'll Do
  • Operate and support robotic cleaning cells by loading and unloading castings, monitoring equipment performance, and helping maintain a smooth production flow.
  • Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and tool change out to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Inspect completed castings for quality, identify defects, and take appropriate action to scrap, salvage, or escalate issues when necessary.
  • Communicate equipment issues, process concerns, and improvement opportunities to supervisors, maintenance, robotics, and engineering teams.
  • Follow work instructions, complete required production and documentation tasks, and maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with established safety and 6S standards

What We're Looking For
  • Prior manufacturing experience preferred (but we'll train the right person!).
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to understand basic machining concepts, recognize issues, and troubleshoot equipment alarms.
  • Comfortable using operator interfaces and working with machine controls.
  • Working knowledge of hand tools and their safe, proper use.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently while maintaining a strong focus on quality and safety.

Why You'll Love It
  • Great pay - $20-22/hr - raise after 60 days.
  • Health insurance with premiums as low as $0 per month, dental and vision insurance, disability and life insurance.
  • 401k plan with company match
  • Up to 10 paid holidays annually after 60 days and one week paid vacation in your first year
  • Steady work in a clean, modern foundry.
  • Advancement opportunities and hands-on training.
  • Be part of a family owned company that's been innovating for over 75 years.
