Oregon Urology Institute has an openings for a Physician Associate/Nurse Practitioner.
Oregon Urology Institute is one of the largest, most advanced urological centers in the Northwest. Oregon Urology Institute provides patients with some of the region's finest medical experts covering every major urological specialty using proven and leading-edge technologies such as robotic surgery, immunotherapy, and radiation therapy.
Oregon Urology Institute has openings for Physician Associate and Nurse Practitioner who functions as an integral member of a health team, providing comprehensive care to patients with acute or chronic medical conditions in a Urology focused independent medical group. Provider is responsible for assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients with urologic needs.
Essential Functions and responsibilities:
  • Provides care primarily in an office setting, with hospital rounding responsibilities.
  • Evaluate patients to determine their medical condition.
  • Perform clinical procedures for patient's benefit which are within scope and skill of practitioner and which are economically feasible.
  • Communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals.
  • Maintains accurate, complete, and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
  • Perform other job related duties, as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Current, unrestricted PA or NP license in the state of Oregon or the ability to obtain.
  • Ability to obtain DEA license.
  • Knowledge of treatment and drug interactions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
