Job Description:
CSI provides hygienic pumps, valves, fittings, and heat exchangers to industrial companies and industrial service providers. We are searching for a qualified candidate that has the ability and passionate commitment to collaborate with Business Development Leaders in their roles in order to ensure our customers' satisfaction throughout the sales cycle. The position's tasks vary, but primary focus is on customer requests for information, quoting, technical solutions, and order management.

What are we looking for?
• Knowledge of Pumps, Heat Exchangers, Valves or other processing equipment preferred.
• Experience with industrial products or machines, preferred.
• Experience with stainless steel, sheet metal, or food processing equipment a plus.
• Strong English for both written and oral communication abilities are a must.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks with little supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Initiative to perform duties beyond assignment-specific responsibilities.
What will you be doing here?
• Size and specify pumps and other process equipment based on product/process conditions provided.
• Provide technical assistance to internal and external customers.
• Prepare quotes and orders providing pricing.
• Developing and determining equipment specifications and performance parameters.
• Generating bills of material
• Execute proper review and updates of open orders, quotes, including communication for internal and external customers.
• Start, continue, and complete workflow tasks per process and within same business day.
Salary: $24 - $28 an hour
Work Location: Springfield, MO
Education/Training:
• High school diploma or equivalent, required
• College credits, required
• Bachelors of Science, preferred
• Technical (Mechanical or Chemical) emphasis, required
Experience:
• Process application knowledge in pumps and/or heat exchangers desired
• Extensive mechanical experience, preferred
• Experience in technical problem solving and troubleshooting, preferred
It is generally expected that an applications team member will work an average of 45 hours during a normal work week. However, due to the sporadic nature of our production requirements, work hours may be increased or decreased throughout the normal work week to correspond with the man-hour capacity required. Overtime is not guaranteed.
This position requires the ability to interact with employees verbally and in writing, remain in a stationary position for 80% of the workday, have close visual acuity, and constantly operate a computer and other office productivity equipment, such as a phone, copy/fax/scan machine, computer keyboard and mouse with or without reasonable accommodation. This position also requires the ability to occasionally lift, stoop, bend, and lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
