Job description

Shape precision into reality

From clock-in to clock-out, you turn engineered concepts into durable, welded assemblies. Join us on 1st or 2nd shift as a MIG Fabrication Welder where safety, accuracy, and craftsmanship are the standard.

A day in the life
  • Lay out, fit, and MIG weld components to AWS standards using engineering drawings and company workmanship criteria.
  • Read and interpret fabrication prints in metric units, including GD&T callouts, and plan your sequence accordingly.
  • Set up fixtures, tack parts, and weld in multiple positions using welding guns, cutting torches, carbon arc, and related fabrication tools.
  • Perform grinding, flame cutting, and arc gouging when required to achieve final specifications.
  • Operate robotic welding equipment and complete required safety and equipment checks (torch condition, straightness, harness inspection, etc.).
  • Coordinate and prioritize tasks to meet production schedules while supporting material movement between fabrication and paint areas.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and manual records for labor hours, work orders, and production documentation.
  • Identify, document, and communicate fabrication issues; report discrepancies and recommend practical solutions.
  • Collaborate effectively with the team and work productively with limited supervision; take on additional tasks as production needs evolve.
What you bring
  • Hands-on welding experience or enrollment/completion of a certified welding trade school or technical program.
  • Ability to read and interpret fabrication blueprints and engineering drawings.
  • A strong commitment to safety, quality, and high workmanship standards.
Preferred qualifications
  • Background in heavy equipment or crane manufacturing.
  • Comfort with fabrication hand tools (grinders, chisels, tip cleaners, etc.).
  • Experience using cutting torches and/or carbon arc gouging.
  • Working knowledge of GD&T.
  • Ability to read standard work instructions and complete continuous improvement documentation.
  • Comfort using computers for production transactions.
  • Understanding of metric measurement systems.
Physical requirements
  • Exposure to welding fumes.
  • Noise levels of 85 dB or greater.
  • Operate overhead cranes, jib cranes, and hoists.
  • Frequent lifting up to 35 lbs.
  • Work at multiple heights; climb ladders, equipment, and lifts.
  • Ability to stand through 8-hour shifts with minimal breaks.
  • Work in areas with fluctuating temperatures.
  • Exposure to magnets that may affect medical devices.
  • Kneel, squat, crawl, and work in tight or awkward positions.
  • Repetitive grasping, pushing, pulling, and rotating motions.
  • Use fine motor skills with a variety of hand and power tools.
Required PPE

Hearing protection, safety glasses, steel-toed/metatarsal footwear, and full welding protective equipment including jackets, chaps, helmet, grinding shield, and related gear.
